About me

Susan Clough

I’m a Scot now living in Provence. I am passionate about languages and intercultural communication. After gaining my languages degree at the University of Cambridge with first-class honours, I did my PGCE teaching qualification in French and German at the University of Cumbria. I have a DALF C2 qualification in French and I also speak fluent German.

I love teaching and have worked as a language trainer and teacher in Austria, England and France. My pupils range from 3 to 70+, and I have worked with private companies, individuals and in schools.

I arrived in Provence in early 2013 and started to give private lessons and professional English coaching, as well as carrying out volunteer work. I work with non-francophone newcomers to Provence in order to help them access the services they require and integrate as successfully as possible. I train professionals in business English as well as giving one-to-one coaching sessions and tutoring private pupils.
